Special Events of New England LLC
began its history in 1989. It was started by Chris Riddell as
a proprietorship, and eventually incorporated as an LLC. The company's
roots actually began in 1972, when Mr. Riddell’s grandfather,
Paul Riddell, opened a Taylor Rental franchise in Manchester.
In 1973, that Taylor Rental franchise became the first company
in the southern N.H. area to offer tent rentals.
Mr. Riddell had worked in the family business
throughout his high school and college years, and after having
received a degree in Computer Information Systems in the late
1980’s, he decided to pursue a career path in the tent and party
rental industry. Thus, he started Special Events of New England
LLC to have a 100% focused party rental operation.
From 1989 to 2002, Special Events of New England
LLC operated out of the Taylor Rental franchise in Manchester.
During 2002, a new showroom in Auburn, NH was undertaken to better
display our products and meet with our customers.
Today, Chris Riddell offers his many years of
experience in the rental business to advise clients and provide
high-quality rentals to meet his clients' needs.

Fabrics Association International - Tent Division.
